Drake might disagree with you, along with quite a number of professors at almost every major university in the world.

That life seems probable on Mars and perhaps even the atmosphere of Jupiter and the seas of Titan, makes it more probable that we are certainly not the only intelligent species in this universe, or any other universe for that matter (as there are now 11 other universes that have been mathematically postulated at last count).

When you consider that we are in the relative boondocks of our galaxy, plopped near an edge of one of the galactic arms, and we are orbiting a third generation star to boot... well to be so convinced that we are the only intelligent life in this universe seems to be the height of arrogance.
