I think we're at a bottom again. I don't see much downside from here. I think any long position here is dead money for a few months, but I expect to see CTXS in at least the upper $20 range by year end, and much higher next year.

I am still short Dec $20 puts, but am confident these will be OTM at expiration. If not, I'll be happy to own CTXS in December at a net price of less than $16/share.

If anyone wants a good way to make a nice short term profit, write some Dec $20 puts. The current price is over $5, so the options would have to be assigned with a stock price under $15 to lose money. Of course, there is a good probability these options will expire out-ot-the-money.

Demand over the next 6 months will tell the picture. If Citrix improves significantly from this quarter, the stock will recover nicely.

However, if sales don't recover, you could lose another 50 percent of your money.
