Hi Jack,

I update mine on Sunday. Sometimes on Saturday by changing the date to Sunday. Then I record all trades as they take place during the week. FWIW

Jack,

Like Keith, I update mine on Saturday, changing the date on the computer, or on Sunday morning. BTW, if you tell Newport that it is Sunday's date, it sets the computer's date to what you type in.

For Keith AND myself, we are on the home screen for the stock in Newport when we click on Trade to enter the trade. I suspect you may be elsewhere when you attempt to enter the trade, OR you are typing in a date that Newport does not recognize as a valid date (i.e. with the computer set to DD/MM/YYYY, you enter the date as MM/DD/YYYY).

Hi Jack, As habit, I update my Newport files with the previous Friday's prices on Monday. Then the trades are all logged for the current week as they occur.

Best regards, Tom
