if there were such a thing as special providence, I'm not sure what that means, (I skipped some of my bible school lessons). supposing that there were a "nudge" effect, Sort of like pick one of the animals on the planet(like an ape), zip in and poke with the DNA to make it self aware, and then go back in hiding? It's not only unnecessary, but seems so pointless. At least a diety that zaps a lump of clay into something appears to have a goal. TP
