Yeah, all I meant about Oracle is that their products have the right architecture to support outsourcing, being thin-client. And they do have a complete solution at this point, crm + erp, scm etc. But thats only if some customer wants only Oracle. Anyway Oracle has too many irons in the fire to compete aggressively here.

From a stock price standpoint I learned something wrt commerce one vs. ariba that might be applicable. Cmrc charges by transaction which holds the most long term promise if you believe in b2b; whereas Ariba has a std software model which is $$ loaded up-front. It turns out the pure play exchanges like chemdex aren't getting the volume people thought and Cmrc stock price is reflecting that, but with Ariba it doesn't matter. Thats the thing with these ASPs, as far as I know it isn't front loaded in any way.
