Red Dragon,

The scenario that you present of a "topping" market in CY 2000 is fine for you if you believe it. I do not believe it. We are already over half way through CY 2000 and earnings estimates keep rising. Every week I add up the changes in earnings estimates for the group of semi-equips that I follow and they are always positive - every week! As proven by the actual results last week, and most undoubtedly this coming week, the estimates of earnings for the companies have been way too low.

As shown by the tables previously presented, most of the semi-equips in the list have PEG ratios less than 1. Some much less than 1, such as KLIC.

Having said that, however, I can't argue with success. You got out early in the year at the right time. The stock price was in the 80's in March, now it is down in the 40's. Who knows when, if ever, it will get back to the 80's.
