Ted Re...<<<<<>>No, the AMD stock was under distribution well before earnings. Apparently, the sell side analyst at SSB is not the only analyst that thinks the semi cycle has peaked. That, combined with the fear that Intel is getting their act back together, I think are the two issues holding back the AMD stock. Hopefully attitudes will change soon.<<<<<<

Ted if we look at the last four quarterly earning reports, we see that even though AMD has blown out the numbers every time; AMD has dropped every time during witching week. When there is money to be lost, and considering the volatility of the market, it is easy to start a rumor, (price war coming) lower the price for witching wk, then counter rumor next wk. when their business is done. Why are we worrying about price manipulations by the MM? The price will rebound shortly, Niceguy will start predicting again, Intel will delay their next miracle chip again, AMD will bring out 1.1 ghz,and Paul will keep on denigrating AMD while he keeps on overpaying for AMD stock, (he bought a bunch at 84.5 when the price is now 80.5. He's hardly the genius investor he claims to be. Kash called it better. IN other words life will go on.
