As shareholders, we have a right to know what is material to the stock price. Period. We don't have the right to know the answers to every question wee can think of.

In another vein, how many people thought the Intermec bar-code scanner news (posted on MVISpages one day before its "suspension") involves an MVIS scanner engine? How many thought it represents real competition? Although I cannot find out whose engine is being used, it has been suggested to me that MVIS' technology is involved. I am dubious.

JDN,

Here's the response I got from Holly Ash regarding my inquiry about the registration of Lumera.

Thank you for your inquiry. Lumera Corporation is a registered subsidiary of Microvision, developed for the purpose of conducting research and development for non-display applications.

At this time, there is no further information that is available regarding Lumera Corp. We appreciate your support of Microvision. Please feel free to call me in the future with any questions. My direct number is 425-415-6794.

Sincerely,
Holly K. Ash
Director, Investor Relations

Okay by me; certainly nothing sinister about it.
