There's nothing like a consortium to move quickly to solve a problem!

Which problem? Recent DDR, DRDRAM an PC133 benchmarks indicate that high bandwidth memory is not generally needed for CPU performance.

i was actually speaking of a different consortium, though i imagine many of the members are the same...

i was making a reference instead to the pending patent-infringement lawsuit i expect to be filed against rambus in the coming days...
