If ALI's chip is any better, it may compensate more than any lost sales due to VIA. Any positive surprise would depend on AMD DDR chipset, if AMD manages to release it in the early October.

Why VIA is to blame? I wonder, who was responsible for
AMD-750 chipset and for not delivering the 760 chipset
on-time?

I've seen Durons at computer shows but there was a scarcity of motherboards...
So it's same 'ole, same 'ole...rely on Taiwan chipsets and motherboards and you wait a while.
