I have seen many a dead money situation do pretty well in reasonably short periods of time. Buy BMC here at 17 or so and look at in 6 months at 25. That would be 50% return/100% annualized. I am not predicting here. If you catch the bottom at a super distressed price(17), a distressed price(25) can look awfully good. Having said that I suspect market is thinking BMC is predicting a more extended sales cycle than previously thought. So stock may see new lows over the next few days/weeks. So maybe 15 will be the magic number. That's where i will place my GTC orders tomorrow. I bought at average cost of 40, then doubled down at 20 and now will buy more at 15. In a couple of weeks I will reevaluate the order depending on what occurs.

"I nibbled more today @ $17 3/8. Was really tempted to buy more, but opted to wait for the earnings announce and all.
I will buy more tomorrow. This is definitely a buy and hold opportunity."

Hey John, Be careful also. You seem to be just as aggressive as I am here.

The same/similar folks who would not touch ORCL at 18, will
not touch BMCS now at 18! What a bargain!

cheers,
-/Sonny.

(ps. just putting the value on the engineering propeller heads at BMCS, in this present hot, tech. labor starved market, can easily justify a take-out price between 40-50 bucks IMHO! Sign: If IBM chart remains flattish to slightly bearish for some period of time, despite good news, look-out above for BMCS! Just IMHO - pure speculation at this juncture! Just like ASND was for me wrt LU years ago! :-) )

Did you get any in the 16's. I have my order in at 15 and I hope I never get it. Just to soon for me to average down further.
