Re sale of riverboat casino:

"ALTON, Ill., June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Argosy Gaming Company (NYSE: AGY - news) today announced that on June 14, 2000, Conseco Entertainment, L.L.C.
(``Conseco''), an indirect subsidiary of Conseco, Inc., filed a complaint in Superior Court, Tippecanoe County, Indiana seeking declaratory relief from the court. The Company has yet to be served the complaint. In its complaint, Conseco maintains that the Lawrenceburg partnership agreement requires the non selling partners to
complete the purchase of the selling partners interest no later than 6 months following the date of the put notification (i.e., October 28, 2000). The Company believes that Conseco's interpretation of the Lawrenceburg partnership agreement with respect to the time periods for completion of the purchase process is incorrect, and intends to vigorously contest Conseco's interpretation."

There is no way in hell that this action will be resolved in less than nine months.

<The difference is that neither you nor I are the CNC analyst from one of the major brokerage houses.>

So? Big deal? Should that give him some right to automatically be included on the call?

You guys can twist anything negative. Best I've ever seen. Still won't make you correct.

Look I know you guys aren't fools. And Neither are the longs. What I simply can't figure is that you potentially have a maximum of $8 to make here. Aren't there many other opportunities around these days that would yield that same $8 and a substantially less risk? is this really the best deployment of your capital? Can you explain that to me maybe?
