Pat, With the Microelectronics IPO and spinout, this is beginning to look like a very attractive entry point into LU for individual investors. There's no other possibility of them getting any IPO shares; and LU certainly is at a solid discount at today's price - especially if one looks at how Nortel values its Optoelectronics business; or JDSU or SDLI or ETEK or ... It would appear that if (once) LU gets its act together, there's a chance for appreciation in the LU price as well as getting the spinoff shares. Do you have a differing view? Ian.
