Update from MOSS President (Part 1 of 2)

I talked to Eric Deckinger today. He called me back in response to an email I sent late on Friday asking about the status of the new plant. I had talked to him before, and like the last time, he seems very open and personable.

He said the new plant has been delayed longer than expected because of problems with building permits. He said they are waiting for a permit from the county to be able to build the "operations room" inside the main plant building. Basically it's a building inside the building. I didn't ask any more details. My guess is that it's probably the main control area for the new plant.

He said once the permit is issued, he has a contractor lined up to do the work. The contractor has said it will take 60 days from start to finish. They expect the permit to be issued any day now. They have addressed all issues that the county had with the original permit request.

Drat.
