Re: Day trading also has this tax problem if you are successful. RDM, Tell me about it. I'm currently looking at a tax bill that will be higher than my yearly salary. I'm going to be feeling a lot of pain come April. It's really sad that when I took out $5K to pay off college debt I had to set aside another $5K for taxes. I'm trying to avoid the the situation where you go spend your gains only to find next year your tax bill is higher than the money you have left! chic
