Well, that sounds fine. I am not a libertarian, I am conservative, and believe in the safety net. Anyway, I wasn't aware we were discussing social welfare, I though we were discussing the Cold War. It does not matter about the little-c state, Marxism- Leninism-(? Stalinism) was a very real set of revolutionary doctrines, frequently opposed by other socialists who considered themselves committed to democracy. Whether as framework or rationale, Marxism- Leninism was the way that the Communist Party reflected upon and organized its activities.........

I studied and rejected it in seventh grade, one year after I had finished Mein Kampf.

But this...

If you're doing better, help a little. Give some thanks. If you're doing worse, help yourself and take only the help you need.

... is nothing more than a re-wording of the socialist credo: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need."

This train of highly evil thought has created more monstrous acts than any other in history.
