George, as for specialists, no one put in bids so they had to take stuff in "an orderly manner" into their inventory. Of course you should expect them to try and sell this higher, particularly in view of the possible black Monday coming. And yes, I think they have a license to steal. Why do you like CAT and PG? If the Fed succeed in their effort to slow the economy, cap equipment like Cat will be the first to suffer. Furthermore, I hear some problems might be brewing again in Asia like two years ago (these murmurs might have been what is derailing the summer rally), if that is the case, CAT may go into a negative cash flow position during the through, that might be when you want to get them, not just before a recession hit.
