I am amazed that people think that it is ok to distribute copyrighted material without compensating the artists. But then again, the music industry is so screwed up that his may change things for the better, allowing artists to distribute their music themselves...just as soon as they have a way to ensure payment.

Maybe the stephan king model will work....the honor system...LOL!!!! NOT!

Every proponent for napster that I have seen is bitching about the high cost of CDs as if it is an essential item for survival and that they somehow have a right to that music at no cost.
