it is interesting how WGC stats clearly indicate Uruguay as having 56 tonnes of gold to lease and Bill Murphy out of nowhere claims they probably do not have the gold. How can he make such statements out of the blue like this if he wants to be taken seriously? Same goes for GATA's focus on GS manipulation for so long before the derivative stats indicated otherwise. My guess is that GATA will never take legal action against the so called cabal for lack of solid evidence. GATA is just a story teller aiding long suffering gold bugs in feeling good about their holdings. This is definately detrimental to ones wallet. Without Veneroso's info on gold, imo, GATA would be completely lost.
On another note, au looks bullish off this weekend with the xau likely to take a run at 54 resistance.

WASHINGTON - The Federal Trade Commission has subpoenaed at least seven oil companies as it investigates possible price-fixing in the gasoline price spike that sent prices for unleaded regular to more than $2 a gallon in the Midwest last month.
