Help please....
I have held COMS LT (since 1998 with cost basis 23.875)
Now I have remaining COMS at approx 5.017 cost and PALM approx 18.858 cost based on the formula related in Alski's post #44241. If I were to sell PALM tomorrow at say 37 would my gain on PALM (37 - 18.858) be considered LONG TERM since the original COMS purchase that this distribution is based on was purchased over 2 yrs ago??? Thanks in advance.
