Cheney has reasons for his positions at that time. I understand he has changed some opinions now and based on current information and facts. It is also my understanding that Gores voting record parallels Cheney on some of the votes in question. I heard on one of the programs Gore voted 80% with the NRA, etc.. The big thing is you know what you get with Cheney. You don't know with Gore. He will change with a poll or a trainer who directs him on the direction to winning regardless of the substance of his position.
