Thanks for the report, as always. And I have a comment for you.

Did you notice a contradiction in the Quantum CC, when they were discussing the component shortage that will cause a 10% reduction in build ? If ALL of their high end production is committed to the backlog, why are they reducing prices ? Did Seagate say anything about component shortage ? I didn't hear anything.

Anyway, your data should show the price trend of HDD scsi drives, right ? I would appreciate it if you can share how their price acts in the next few weeks. It seems to me that with IBM's problems, and limited supply of high end disks, prices should hold quite well.

One analyst now changed his profit projection for HDD to a 20c loss.

I remember last Q maxtor said they will barely break even this Q, and of course they exceeded that by a mile. I hope the same happens this time.
