Dljdirect is great for almost everything except
this.
If your stock split, you won't see the extra shares
for 3 days in your account. And your account looks like
lost lots of money. No other brokerages do that.

But they are the best when you don't have this problem.

Hi Ian,
I also have DLJ Direct and because of my shares of PALM not showing up until Aug 4, 2000 and COMS dropping in price because of the dividend split. I was given a house call do to the fact that I had COMS on margin and not only that, I also have YWAV that was a CASH transaction that went from the BB to the AMEX and the symble was changed to YW. They kept the YWAV in my account with NO VALUE for days even though YW was a dunn deal.
I tried to explain to them and got no results. They sold 74 shares of my IBM even though I did not legally have a margin call.
