John, I'm happy that the motherboards are coming out in decent quantities, but I'm still miffed that the K7 is almost a year old and the only faster-than-PC100 chipset we have for it is from VIA. I mean, K7 was just about the only way for the past several months that chipset makers could make chipsets without fear of being sued for doing so. Every month, AMD has been severely constrained by limited chipset and motherboard production. For chipsets and mobos, it's a seller's market with the AMD platform. And yet support won't be there until K7 is more than a year old.

Bah. Humbug!

I'm still sick, too. :p

I am happy, though, that my cleverly timed buy on Thursday managed to save AMD from a plummet to $50. ;)
