"In short, the primary market at issue here is over-the-air transmission, which as we have discussed as moving towards digital transmission..."

lml- Yes I know. And that is what puzzles me. My guess is there are all of 5 million total homes, out of a total of 100 million TV households in the USA that are still reached via over the air terrestrial broadcast transmission. The market appears to be almost nil.

Oh I just thought of something. I suppose there used to be a lot of stranded DBS subs out there who DID indeed need access to local over the air, NAB affiliate, content. That must be the big market that ADCT WAS aiming for. So that would have made it 5 plus 10 equals 15 million possible recipents of ADCT transmitter. Still not much incentive for an NAB to get involved with it.

Especially since the FCC recently changed all this because local NAB affiliates are now able to hop onto their local DBS customers network. Physically, how an local NAB affiliate uploads content to a DBS to be re-sent to local area subs-- I do not know? That would be interesting to find out. Anyone know? -MikeM(From Florida)
