I forgot about Local Hero! Seen it four times ... my favorite line is "You can't eat scenery". I would have to put that is one of my two favorite comedies, it edges out Raising Arizona. I like My Dinner w/Andre and the Spaulding Gray movies a lot, and I've seen all the comedies you list at least once (Animal House 3 times, Spinal Tap twice, Christmas Vacation twice). I thought "Something About Mary" was real good this year, though as a rule I avoid movies I can't watch with my family.
