Don't you consider Gore a little stiff, insincere, loose with the truth, not a good team builder, and has yet to display leadership characteristics. Would you choose him to run your company?

Bush had, according to a profile in Rolling Stone, a solid B average at Yale. I cannot recall Gore's Harvard average, but he had a C- at his prep school, because he coasted. Anyway, if you have watched the convention, the Religious Right has been smack dab in the middle of things, not muzzled. Partnership with faith- based civic initiatives is the center piece of the Bush community renewal program. Will the debates "Doom GWB"? No, because he will be prepared for them probably more than any previous candidate. You are not catching the level of care that is going into getting this campaign right, and learning from mistakes. What role will the Green Party have? None whatsoever........

SK, for gore to do what you think he will do, he is going to have to get a lot of coaching before any debates. In any news conference, he has to er, and ah, and er again, before he can come up with any kind of statement, and even then, most of them come out "stupid". A debate requires quick thinking, and if fairly done, the questions will come out of the blue, and he will have to think on his feet. Something he has yet to show a talent for. His responses are mechanical at best, and are badly in need of proper lubrication. In other words, he talks like a dead tree stump. ~H~

It has been posted here in the past. Bush had higher college board scores and consistently performed better than Gore in college. And didn't Gore flunk out of Vanderbilt Law School?

Stephen, I totally agree. Gore like his father, who was a highly respected Sen, that was ofton thought of as a Pres. candidate himself, is a tremendous Orater. Bush is a horrific public speaker, and debating skills are for the Birds... I think a lot will come out in the debates..Bush better be ready....
