Yes, I liked Laura a lot. I agree with you, it is good evidence to see who they are with. I always gave Phil Gramm credit for Wendy, for example. Laura is smart, personable, and has the air of someone who can get things done herself. I think she will be a breath of fresh air as a First Lady.......

bp, very good point. I, too, believe you can make a judgement about someone by the people they surround themselves with. Look at Hillary, James Carville, Ira Magaziner, the guy who was a bouncer and got the FBI files, Gore, and the other birds who sing Clinton and Gores song in an attempt to refute and deny the various legitimate charges made against this administration. There are no heavyweights in that administration. A deck of cards. The greatest skill in it is Clintons absolute ability to charm and look you in the eye and tell you it is raining while he pee's on your leg.
