Dennis, RE: The other article says GE's PE is twice that of other financial corps.,.....well why not ...the other companies don't sell light bulbs, etc.

The point that was made (well) was that as financial services continue to grow as a percentage of GE overall, the PE should begin to contract to move toward other financial services companies.

Instead, as GE Capital has continued to grow much faster than the rest of the company, the PE has risen. In addition, leverage has risen within GE Capital.

That is the discrepancy that the article is referring to.
