Hi Paul,

OTOTOT: Glad everyone liked the Joke!! Once in a while they are good to put things into perspective.

Well as Far as I know things on the farm are good. It just depends on which farmer you ask. <GGG> I'm in the city, but they were cutting hay (alphalfa) near work the other day and I did get some sweet corn from a street vendor. Unfortunately that's as close as I get to the farm these days. <VBG> Not a life I would choose. But then again everything is becoming computerized now. I suppose there is nothing like surfing the net from your combine. <GGG>

Maybe I haven't been paying attention but has anyone been discussing Moore's Law lately? I saw an article about how we keep getting faster and faster machines but do we really need them. I know WE do, the power users will always want more. I remember asking a similar question back when the MMX machines were just coming out. But I'll ask it again. Are the developers really creating software that needs these ultra fast machines?? Most business software sure doesn't need that much horse power.

Yes, the web servers need to be fast but most of those are not NT machines. Ok, see I said most. <GGG>

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone next year!!

Have a great day!!

Take Care

Ann

P.S. Of course my humor will always be in high gear. Living where I do and with MY job you Have to have one!! Or you'll go crazy!! :-)
