Glenn D. Rudolph,
Both bears and bulls are welcome and represented on this thread.

Lizzie never said that the AMZN bears didn't have a clue (not on this thread at least), she was making an observation that the bulls are not treated with respect on the AMZN thread.

I asked Lizzie to not bring fights from other threads to this thread and she has avoided doing so. I would ask the same of you.

Let's get a handle on this. Amazon is not a religion. It is a stock and you are stating clearly you do not like the balance sheet. However, people that are bearish on Amazon don't have a clue??? You sure got me on that one.

I didn't say that Glenn. I just think the Amazon board at SI is so emotionally bearish its not worth reading. You might get some good tidbits from that thread about other stocks, but about Amazon probably not.

Its odd, in a way, it reminds me of how people reacted to Oracle in 1994 or so. A lot of people don't remember how many people HATED Oracle the company. There were tons of bugs in the products and they pushed their customers around. When you called support you had to wait an hour and then just as it got really bad, they took the 800# away, stuff like that.

But people felt they had to buy from Oracle then, that was the issue. With Amazon what is it? As far as technology Amazon literally invented an entire space in software which is now owned by broadvision and vignette. If the people on Amazon think Jeff Bezos is a crook, is the Broadvision guy also deserving of this animosity since he "stole" the idea from Amazon?

Whether they can make a go of it with their logistical issues remains to be seen but it seems to me people should be rooting for the company, not against it. Thats my only point.
