John - Re: "AMD's Duron will miss back-to-school rush "

WOw !!

Demand must be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry Sanders said the Dupalon was SOLD OUT.

I suggest we start a pool - to see when the FIRST CLASS ACTION suit is filed against AMD and Sanders.

Do you think Milberg Weiss and Lerach can have a class action suit filed by noon today - or maybe before the market closes ?

I propose Goutama start taking ESTIMATES for the time the first suits are filed !

Paul

<font color=red>As a result, the company is probably making the logical choice of dedicating its energy to making Athlon chips rather than Durons.

"They'd be crazy to say, 'Let's not make $600 chips. Let's make $150 chips," noted Peter Glaskowsky, an analyst at MicroDesign Resources.

Hi John and all,

I'm new to SI and was just wondering if most of you here are long or short AMD?

I'm short because I believe now that the industry is moving out of its "shortage" period and that AMD will suffer at the hands of Intel. AMD, IMO, is at a tremendous disadvantage and this time of profitability, which they recently have enjoyed, will be short lived.

Good luck, Cho
