Personnally, I value TMann's comments, which I view as sincere and constructively presented. I am still long GSTRF, but am re-evaluating my expectations. TMann's comments help in that regard, along with all other insightful comments, both positive and negative.

Currently I'm reading/rereading GSTRF SEC documents to put me in a less emotional frame of mind, before I decide what to do with my GSTRF shares.

Speaking of Yahoo, let's stop this before it escalates. IS everyone who has negative comments a short? I've got a boatload of negative comments, and no one has held this stock longer than I have (since the IPO).

Keep up the good work there Investartist. "I have in my hand a list of 200...make that 1000 shorts that have infiltrated the Globalstar message board"

Senator McCarthy would have been proud of you.

Hey, why not publish TMANN's profile while you're at it.

Investartist, your right about the propaganda spewing from this sight. You can spot a short a mile away.

What my partner and I chuckle about is all the agonizing that goes on here. If people who buy this stock would simply realize that this is a speculation and , in turn, invest accordingly, (no more than 2% of ones' portfolio) one would never have to fret over the daily comments of the likes of TMann or Michael. Bernard is going to make this work or he isn't, it's still a spec.

Look for more and more disinformation over the coming months because G is not going out of business anytime soon and we believe a lot of the shorts are probably going to cover before next quarters announcement, and they'll want to do so under as negative a scenario as they can muster up.

regards,

bt

I have plenty of negative things to say, and I have never been short. When stocks evaporate like LOR and GSTRF have, something negative SHOULD be said. You can live in a positive-only world, but the investment community is obviously seeing something different. Shareholders should have plenty of negative things to say. Astute analysts should weigh the negatives against the positives. I have still not seen anyone here come up with a new realistic breakeven number after factoring the new debt, the coming debt, and the lack of fixed sites. You can't assume an average 160 MOU's when early adopters are using only 30 or 40 minutes. Does that then increase the need for 4 million subs to get to breakeven? That should be a hot topic. The models should be humming with new scenarios that don't include 25% fixed site subs churning out 700 MOU per month. There is a lot to be negative about--and it should be aired.

Wow; I haven't gotten this much attention since I published my poem. To clarify my position I'm a buy and hold type. Been in Q since '96 and G*/Lor since '97. Have sold some G* back in the fall of '99 but re-established in late Nov. Sorry if I offend anyone by being critical, it's just that I'm very frustrated with G* (particulary SPs) performance. I'm grateful to mgmt. for the monumental accomplishment of a worldwide cellular network, and believe the business plan is basically sound. However, as I believe many here will agree, the execution of marketing, sales, etc. has been less than, well average(not worth a poop). Many of the comments I make here are more directed at mgmt & SPs in hope that they might get more motivated and pick up the pace a little. I think many of the suggestions/ideas generated here could have a significant impact (ie smaller phones, reasonably sized and priced car kits, joint advertising, partners in airports, etc. etc. ) but so far, only cheaper phones idea has caught on. I know posting to mgmt here may be like talking to a brick wall, but at least it's good therapy. Anyone down by 70% needs to blow off a little steam.

Sorry if my foul attitude has offended anyone. I really enjoy exchanging ideas, gathering G* progress reports, and dreaming of a brighter future (special thanks to RS, Vman, Jim P. Micheal1, and of course Maurice for their dilligence and insights. Nothing would make me happier than to fill the entire system by '05.

Now that that's clear, on with the news. Did anyone see in today's WSJ the article that GMs Onstar is selling 1500 units a day. They expect 1M subs by end of year. I think Onstar would be a good case study, similar to Nextel, of how a new product ramps. I think the system is about 18months old now. There's no doubt that G* could be equally successful. Just need to get batman's endorsement and a little airtime. Having GMs deep pockets & automobile platform hasn't hurt either; but does G* have any less a partner in QCOM? Certainly not. Yes there is hope, but as usual we get no indication of any initiative. Hope vacation is over soon!
