And these were (generally) decent, intelligent people doing this, like Scumbria and possibly you, ted (not 100% sure, I may be wrongfully accusing you here, and I apologize for that). This sort of thing I cannot understand. JC, Just for the record I have never posted on the mod thread. As far as I can tell, the people like Scumbria and Kash who have been critical of the mod thread/the moderator mainly post on the mod thread, not here. The exception to that of course are some of the Intel longs but they are no more forgiving here than on the mod thread. Otherwise I can not think of someone who mainly posts here that has gone over to the mod thread and trashed it. If I ammissing someone, I am sorry. ted

JC, posted messages for the singular purpose of hurting the Moderator's feelings. Hardly. If people can't take the heat, they should get out of the kitchen. It is important to make sure that people in positions of power don't abuse it. The last thing I want to see is the threads go off into la-la land like they were doing about Dell, 1.5GHz, $200 share price, etc., etc. The opposing, and sometimes virulent comments of Paul, Elmer, etc. are absolutely essential for keeping these threads on track.
