Ben - mobile operators have mostly already locked in their mobile data strategies. Coming up with new alternatives now is very late. The infrastructure upgrade commitments don't get changed that often. Actually, there is not one operator in the world that has changed an already made commitment to a certain upgrade strategy.

I wasn't asking who is planning GSM-CDMA chipsets. I was asking for a shipping date. "Plans" have existed for three years now.
