>>FS, I guess you answered my question, indirectly. In your lengthy bio, there is no mention of having been through a war.

Sorry jbe.

No, I didn't "serve" in any war.

But I have tremendous respect for anyone who has.

The thousands of hours of memories of hate, anger, death and destruction which have to be simply erased from one's consciousness.

There's nothing to really remember that worth remembering when you are in the middle of a destructive energy-taking black hole.

When we feel that each day presents the same constant grind. When we fail to count our blessings and forgive ourselves and others. When we perceive life as boring, hard or "work" instead of full of constant, wonderful fun and joy. When happiness eludes us.

It's the same feelings we feel when we are in the middle of these black holes which are so hard to live through, maintain, nurse and survive through.

Our ego takes great pride in claiming, fighting for the right to feel angry, irritated and annoyed. Why? Because we need to assign blame and responsibility to others or things outside of ourselves through our power of judgment in order to keep this act alive. We need to continue blowing smoke and fire inside our personal castles of fear just to keep going. And anyone who enters our castles has to understand and respect all the work it takes to keep up this incredible act of fear-based survival.

But the universe pulls the curtain on our ego and we need to learn the value of laughing and forgiving ourselves and others. We need to know we are Wizards at heart - that we will smile and join Dorothy to wish her a safe trip "back home."

Peace.
