Matt - My understanding is that certain breokerage house on the West coast in Canada will indedd allow you to short OTC BB. Those hpouses are the ones that run the VSE/CDNX.

I think you must establish a repoire with the broker but I think once they know you they will allow it. I suspect the floor traders in those same hpouses do likelwise

Hey Matt...OTC stocks can be shorted if you have accounts set up through certain brokerages in Canada.Large bank discount traders don't allow it but select boutique and western brokerages do.Avoid Yorkton.They have their arse full with problems in the past regarding blind shorts on the OTC.The other qualification is sophistication as well as equity to cover the short.I think most of them like to see at least 200% equity available.
