What has changed here?

Last q, they warn. Two weeks later they miss that
lowered number and half next q's expectation. This,
due to 'longer recovery from y2k' and they also mention
slower server sales.

Then sunw comes out with blow out numbers.., seems they're
selling plenty of servers.

Is this a chart thing that has everyone here so cheery?
I see no reason to believe they won't miss next q's number
and continue to 'push out' contracts.

The fundamental trend is bad.

Also, psft's ceo recently told analysts to double next year's
estimates. So not all software companies are looking bad
either.

I told myself I wouldn't get back in until I saw something
'real' from them, but I'll be quite irritated if the momo's
run it up on no new news and I get left behind.

please show me the error of my ways..., thanks

ps. 100million over 5yrs to a co with 7 billion in sales
is not what I'm looking for.
