"truism" from my broker - "an investor is a trader who made a mistake...." that's a good one. i'd heard a very close variation... 'an investor is a daytrader whose trade went the wrong way'. both making the same point, for sure. however, it is equally correct to say that, in some cases, a daytrader is an investor who went the wrong way. odd, that.

David, Looks like the strategy I tied worked pretty good. Pre Spin Off into COMS at 41 .... out at 66 .... in on COMSV at 12.81 .... waiting for $20 ... pay my taxes and move on to the next. About a week ago .. someone listed a couple of other companies going through spin offs.. have you done any DD on any of these? Also ... when do you think that PALM will bottom.. I am convinced they have a strong 2 year picture .. but I want to bottom fish for PALM shares. As always .. your comments are appreciated.
