USB PORT DRIVE...What a concept!

This USB port drive concept (http://www.usbdrive.com) looks quite compelling, particularly for future small form-factor devices. If the devices will have a high-bandwidth I/O port (like USB) on board, then something like ThumbDrive(tm) would give users the quick data transferability/exchange benefits of a removable flash card, but without the need for a separate 'proprietary' card slot that consumes significant space 'real estate'. It would be a perfect fit in the scenario whereby most of the non-volatile memory remains permanently embedded in the device.
