Unless, of course, the market looks at the last quarter and says that these losses will persist, shaving another dollar off the book in one year, and getting to negative book in three.

This makes me feel very secure.

From 2nd Quarters earning warning:

Bill Willett, CEO of Programmer's Paradise, commented, ``Europe continues the slower than expected recovery from Y2K issues. However, our strong management team in Europe remains optimistic for recovery in the second half of 2000.''

From the 1st Quarter Earning report:

``Looking forward, I believe we have taken positive steps to strengthen our sales channels and increase penetration within the North American and European markets. We are optimistic that our blend of Internet, corporate, and catalog businesses will lead to a solid recovery throughout the remainder of 2000.''

I'll predict the 3rd quarter's earning report:

``Looking forward, we are optimistic that our new strategy and lean company will lead to a solid recovery in the 4th quarter of 2000.''
