Hi Candide! I think you just graduated! We gonna have a blast this fall.

If ya in or if ya out of the market this is really time for learning and we all gonna come back stronger than we were last year.

Can't wait! Gotta Wait! And Wait! and Wait!

I love this chart. Tells it all. That is why I keep posting it and will probably continue to do so every once in a while. At least until we get out of August.

Hi Candide:

It's like I said about half a year ago. Stay in cash until the October "correction/crash" occurs, which is nothing more then window dressing for the third quarter. Buy into the market when there is maximum doom and gloom, then ride through the "Christmas effect" right through the new year, then pull out by the third week of February, take your profits and book an 8 month ocean cruise devoid of TV's computers or other attachments to the financial world, then come back in October to go on a shopping spree once again during the next "crash".

I think that I will try that the next time arround.

Just a thought,

Best regards,

David.

BTW: if you take a cruise to nowhere, how will it know how to get back?

CandyMan with the Incredibly Lovely Wife,
good lessons to be sure
my compulsion in being in the market with leverage has resulted in going up strongly with upmarkets, and going down very strongly in downmarkets... in choppy markets that follow downmarkets, I tend to trade emotionally in & out, therefore not much difference from downmarkets

as for Cuba experiences and stories, not much to report... just lots of mental planning that dont mean shiaaht since my account got cut in half... per chance I chose a week to visit the fine isle of Cuba during the 25th anniversary of something stupid... thus most nice things like swimming pools were closed, rental cars were taken, and other such nonsense... we got to swim once... it was entertaining to try pigeon spanish with almost no verb usage... I guess fine glutes are rare down there, since in a crowded little carnival some woman came up and grabbed my ass and got a full squeeze... I just turned around and smiled at her coyly... another buxom babe kept eyeing me while holding her beau in a squeeze... I did a double take five steps later, then a triple take ten steps later, followed by a burst of laughter from both of us... probably a working girl... Fidel came to town for a speech... I didnt go (regret it) since I was afraid of losing control and heckling the senile bastard... who knows what they do to foreign political prisoners?.. man oh man, I love their mangos... mango by day and papaya by night

special prize to anyone who figures out the meaning for that last line

I am selling my house and abandoning NewEngland... probably not taking any teaching job that pays shiaaht, esp since I would have to make a commitment to NewEngland... honestly I dont feel emotionally stable enough to strut stat stuff before a class of 35 eager people who just shelled out mucho dinari... I can likely land a teaching job almost any college in the country, at least part time... they all pay shiaaht... can pursue that later when not so damned shaky and effing depressed

Bonnie, you just might have a jackass house guest in the next few months... how many miles separate Austin from Dallas? how about Austin from Houston? yes, big state

later, Jim
