Addi, >1) Would SSB fire Johnatahn Joseph when he is proven to be totally wrong at the end of Q3?

I don't know, but the Paine Webber guy that predicted $1,000 a share on QCOM stock is still walking around and I saw him on TV a week or 2 ago. Note, QCOM did split 4 for 1, but it's still nowhere near $250.

> Maria Bartiroma said motorola news proves that SSB analyst(Joseph) was correct in his call that the semi cycle was over.

Even analyst Joseph wouldnt have said that the Motorola news ended the cycle. He said cycle would peak next year. Number of cell phones produced in one quarter for one company only marginally affects the cycle in any case.
She was screaming hype at the cnbc audience. The analyst probably is wrong re: cycle--Maria is just stupid.
