Mepci,
simple and straight forward: i buy to open, sell to
close. usually in the money and far out for safety sake.
usually start selling on a 50% or more return. exceptions
are my csco and emc leaps usually buy in low $ period and
have advantage of split. an example:
8/17/99 bought what is now wueaf, jan 02/30, (orignally
60) for 11.215. now worth 53. that's a return on
investment all dates of 372%.
right now the csco wivap/jan02/80 call for 12.625 has the same
kind of % possiblity within a year.
