Have no idea . only posting info so folks may know why on Monday if at opening stock takes a hit. I am long term holder of qcom. enjoyed the rewards during 1999 taking the pain so far in 2000. John

the article says he did 72% in 1999. Well, the NAZ was up over 80%. It's darn easy to find someone who did very well in any given year if you look hard enough. Over the past few years, all you had to do was have a piece of a high-flyer and that high-flyer would dictate your years' return. I think it is interesting that barrons had to find a nobody (that is nobody that anybody ever heard of before reading Barrons) to make its bearish case for the week. I doubt the NAZ or QCOM open down much at all on Monday. In fact, with CSCO, DELL and AMAT coming out this week and the usually friendly PPI on Friday, things could shape up pretty well. On the other hand, CSCO could disappoint for the first time in its history or AMAT could say the uptrend in the semiconductor cycle is over-but I doubt it.

Fear-NOT Barrons. EVERYONE knows that the publication has been bearish for the past 2 decades.
