Downsouth. I am not up to a good discussion level as are some others in teck. But her goes ... I was talking to a guy that works for EMC in Puget Sound area and trying to understand at least the concepts. On thing we talked about is a service that can change storage from Boston if a problem is remotely signaled to the center. The concept is that EMC is trying to build into top line service people to catch and remove problems early/before they effect the storage. This was in addition to hardware duplication type schemes. I belive Gus over in the EMC thread is teck. enough to give you a real answer.
