JBC, I can do without your sarcastic comments about my econ grades. I did take four college courses in economics, including a course in National Income Analysis, with A and B
grades at the Univeristy of Washington. Understand this, there is a REAL budget surplus this year. We can have more REAL budget surpluses if we do not have a tax cut in a time of unprecedented prosperity. Horowitz is right about George Bush Sr. His tax increase of 1991 was the right action to take. Unfortunately, his own party crucified him for taking the right action.
