Mike, re. productivity, since the govt. simply multiplies whatever data it comes up with by computer processing speeds, another fine illusion has been created to support the paper pyramid....
btw, i think (no proof of this yet, but the consumer spending/consumer credit data give a bit of a hint) that the weaker credits have begun to take on new debt to pay the interest on old debt...a form of Ponzi finance pioneered by Amazon in the new era...
