Hasn't Cisco reaped the rewards of its countless acquisitions over the last several years ? It took charges on all of those acquisitions in the past and all of those are contributing to the revenues and bottom line.

Certainly CSCO is a very expensive stock and may not suit every investor's appetite, but that should not be confused with the fact that despite the size of this company they are producing >60% top and bottom line growth.

Without all the acquisitions it has made over the years this company would not be what it is today. So don't get caught up in accounting of acquisitions, cause if you did when they took the first acquisition charge you made a big mistake. But do remember that the stock is very richly priced and in due course when growth slows the multiples will come crashing. But then that may not happen for few years.
