MM, I've run into this guy before (perhaps on the qcom thread) and I don't believe he's a short. My take is that he's a valuationist who believes the sky is falling and sincerely feels he is doing fellow investors a service by telling them about it. Of course he's totally wrong in both cases, but he truly doesn't realize it. Imo the best approach is to leave him to his nightmares. uf

question on purchased R&D, is this a non-cash write off like amortization of intangibles and goodwill, or is this something they are paying cash for?
